My story from Fat to Fit.

I always lived with obesity. I suffered from a very serious illness of Tuberculosis. I did not realize the importance of staying fit until I was seriously ill. I was kept on Protein diet for 3 years due to which my weight kept on increasing and it reached 80kgs. As a result of increased weight I started feeling breathless every time I would climb staircase.  I could not walk much due to excess weight and my superiors at work started noticing this and advised me to do something about my weight. I tried various gyms but could not keep myself motivated for long.  Finally I decided I am going to take my health seriously. So I enrolled myself at Gold’s Gym. I took an annual membership for a year and started my journey to fitness 5 years ago.  As few weeks went by I realized the importance of having a personal trainer to get my form right while doing exercise and although it was expensive I decided to enroll for it because this was an investment I was doing in myself.

My trainers Mangesh Sawant, Arvind, Akshay More and now Sagar Katwe, all have been instrumental in my tremendous weight loss.  I am trying to get fit with every passing day and every passing year.  The journey has been tough as I would not enjoy doing difficult functional exercises, I would sweat it out, muscles would go sore for days but I had to keep going in order to achieve my target. The result is in front of you. The weight loss is very visible. I am proud to say that I got value for my money after joining Gold’s Gym.

I have seen various gym but I haven’t seen any gym like Gold’s Gym where the trainers are sound in their fitness knowledge. The Manager at Gold’s Gym Rajesh Shetty too is quite sound and is always willing to guide if there is any doubt. The entire staff is quite loving and polite in their approach with every single member. Gold’s Gym is my second home and I am going to be a life time member of Gold’s Gym.
